Description
Prof. David Beckett is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist and Consultant Phlebologist specialising in the walk-in, walk-out surgery for varicose veins. He trained at St. Georges Hospital in London.
Prof. David was appointed Consultant Interventional Radiologist in 2009.
Prof. David has worked in The Whiteley Clinic following The Whiteley Protocol® since 2009/2010 and has extensive knowledge of bringing treatments for varicose veins and vein problems, such as thread veins and leg ulcers and Pelvic congestion, to the UK and wider.
Prof. David has presented both Nationally and internationally and has won prizes for his work in Pelvic Congestion. David has participated and continues to participate in international panel debates on this topic. As part of his commitment to The Whiteley Protocol David has participated in research projects undertaken by the Whiteley Clinic.
Prof. David is committed to teaching and training, and participates in regular courses for varicose vein treatments at The College of Phlebology. Prof. David has taught around varicose veins and pelvic congestion and has international links to training within Canada, the Baltics and further.
Prof. David has a sub-speciality interest in the treatment of Pelvic veins and Pelvic congestion and has performed well over a thousand of these procedures since 2009.
