Description
Born in August 1987 (Frauenfeld, Switzerland) Roman completed his medical degree in 2013 at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Afterwards, he specialised in internal medicine and sports medicine in 2021 and angiology (vascular medicine) in 2022 (time of board certification). He also completed a PhD in Biomedical Ethics at the University of Zürich and a Master of Science in Sports Medicine at Danube University (Austria) in 2022.
Roman‘s fields of expertise focus on endovascular surgery (endovenous laser ablation, foam-sclerotherapy, phlebectomies) and vascular sports medicine in athletes (endofibrosis, popliteal entrapment syndrome, chronic exercise-induced compartment syndrome).
